This site (nickunspun.com) is run by Nick Webster. It is built to collect as little as possible.

Automatically collected: nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers. Your browser contacts only this site. I do not log IP addresses or record visits.

Comments. Comments you post are stored and shown publicly. The system keeps only the text you submit - no IP address, email, account, or other metadata. Please do not include anything you would not want public.

Contact form. If you message me, I receive the name and message you enter, and your email only if you choose to add one. I use it solely to read and reply, and keep it only as long as needed to deal with your message. Messages are delivered and stored via my email provider, Fastmail. Neither I nor Fastmail see your IP address.

Hosting. The site runs on servers provided by DigitalOcean.

Your rights. I rely on your consent and my legitimate interest in responding to you. You can ask what I hold or request deletion using my contact form. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
